2 PAYMENT METHOD PROFILES: STABLECOIN

While there is a normal cost of transacting using stablecoins, there is an option to accelerate a transaction by paying additional “gas fees.” 724 Gas fees, or transaction fees, are essentially the cost of initiating a transaction on the blockchain. These fees vary by blockchain network, not the stablecoin being used and are volatile – often changing hour by hour. 725 The chart below shows a glimpse into the range of fees over one week, but gas fees have drastic increases like Ethereum on July 10, 2025, went up to $2.50 726 and Tron on December 6, 2024 was $8.78. 727 Gas Fee Range (July 3-11, 2025)
